Angry Could Increase Risk of Heart Attack

You who have the temperament trait will now have to be more careful. Because the anger has a very bad effect on health. One of them is to raise the risk of heart attack.

Researchers in Australia found that the risk of heart attack 8.5 times higher two hours after you angry. Meanwhile, anxiety increases the risk by 9.5-fold.

The researchers conducted a survey on 313 patients who had a heart attack at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney throughout 2006-2012. After the patient feel better, they answered a questionnaire about the events that occurred 48 hours before a heart attack.

Seven of the study participants, or 2.2 per cent has been achieved what the researchers call an acute level of anger in the two hours before their heart attack. One person reported feeling angry acute within four hours prior to a heart attack. Meanwhile, five people say they feel quite upset within two to four hours before a heart attack.

"The absolute risk of any episode of anger trigger a heart attack is low. However, our data show that the danger is real and is still there," katas a senior lecturer and researcher at the University of Sydney and Royal North Shore Hospital, Dr. Thomas Buckley, as reported by Fox News page
